Rehan is a small town in Himachal Pradesh, India. It is known for its beauty. It lies on the border of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. It is a part of Kangra district. Pathankot is the nearest biggest city with two train stations. Behind this town stands high ranges of Dhauladhar mountains, whose tops remain snow covered for most part of the year.
Although it is small town it is provided with all facilities. Rehan is surrounded by huge number of small villages and is the main stop for shopping and entertainment. The small town has a few shoe shops, one very small hospital (not for emergencies though), pharmacy, a test blood lab, many internet cafe and Chamunda resort.Nurpur,Jawali,Pathankot and Chucky Bank is the nearest biggest city with a train station.
Rehan's countryside is very beautiful as it lies on on-going hills. End March, the weather starts heating up but the nights are still cold. End April, the weather is very hot and may reach 40°C at its highest peak of the day. In winter, it can become very cold. Rehan produces local honey, oil, cheese, vegetables yet exports very little. Himachal Pradesh is one of the first states of India to obtain local water in large quantities for its population. Rehan has is made up of a very large countryside.
It is famous for its talents. Last year's second runner up in the [Indian idol] contest ([Anuj Sharma]) is from Rehan. The Ex tourist and health minister is from Rehan ([Sujan Singh Pathania]). Youth congress District President [vinay sharma] is also from this small town.
The famous Freedom fighter [Sh. Camred Ram Chandra] was also from the city Rehan. Most of his family members are settled in New Delhi, UK and USA but still Mr. Dharm Vir Kapoor his Nephew is only person from his family, still on the native place. Now a [Government School in Rehan] is running on the name of that Great Freedom Fighter.
The famous fair in Rehan is on the name of Siddh Baba Raja Ram on 16th Feb, every year. At the time of the fair Rehan is full of hustle and bustel, people from all other near villages gather at the common Market place.

Kingfisher Red is running daily flights from New Delhi to Gagal Airport which is just 64 km from Rehan. Flights are prone to climatic conditions and can be cancelled due to low visibility in the winters- plan your trip accordingly.
Rehan is connected by narrow gauge railway from Pathankot. Approximate distance from Pathankot to Rehan is 30 km.
The kangra valley toy train also operates in the town. The nearest railway station is at Bharmar, 3 km from main bus stand.
Rehan is well connected by road to all major cities and towns in and around the state. Himachal Road Transport Corporation(HRTC) is the best way to travel plying Air conditioned, Deluxe and Semi Deluxe buses from major cities like Delhi and Chandigarh. Distances to the major cities are Delhi (530km), Chandigarh (240km), Shimla (259km), Manali (205KM), Dharamshala (70km) etc. Tickets can be booked online from HRTC website.[1]
